Group of students went swimming in the river, two students went missing

On the evening of November 16, the leader of the People's Committee of Que Son district, Quang Nam province, confirmed that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, leaving two 7th grade students missing.

At around 4:30 p.m. the same day, a group of seven 7th grade students went swimming in the river at Da Bang lagoon, An Thanh village, Que Chau commune.

While bathing, three students unfortunately drowned. Immediately afterwards, a group of friends rescued one student and brought him safely to shore, while two students, BGPh. and NTT, went missing.

"Rescue forces are searching for the two missing children. The cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities," said the leader of the People's Committee of Que Son district.

Yesterday, in Phu Yen, a male student also went missing while swimming in the sea.

Specifically, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 15, four students of class 10A5, Le Thanh Phuong High School (An My commune, Tuy An district) were swimming at Nhon Hoi village beach.

At 5 p.m., Le Binh Quoc Viet (born in 2009, resident of Phu Phong village, An Hiep commune) was swept away by the waves. Upon discovering the incident, the remaining students immediately went ashore to call for help. However, by the time the adults arrived, Viet had been swept away by the water and was missing.
