Singer My Linh received the 2023 Green Wave Achievement Award
The program is produced in coordination between Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio (VOH) and Vietnam Event Group (VEG) and will be broadcast live on FM99.9Mhz channel as well as Blue Wave platforms.
On the afternoon of December 27, 200 members of the Green Wave Music Awards Voting Council voted for the nominations of 10 categories just announced by the Organizing Committee.
Through the 10 nominated categories this year, the audience can have a clearer picture of Vietnamese music life in 2023. Unlike previous years, the quality of products this year is quite even and the frequency of artists' activities is also very competitive. Therefore, many members of the Voting Council said it was very difficult to decide who would be the winner.
Wren Evans had a successful year
The nominations of Blue Wave 2023 also show a strong "turnaround" in the music scene.
This year, most of the names that made waves in the rankings and had many nominations belong to Gen Z faces such as Tang Duy Tan, Wren Evans, Phuong My Chi, tlinh, HIEUTHUHAI, Phao, Double2T, Vu Phung Tien...
Of course, some veteran faces also proved their abilities such as Hoang Thuy Linh, Van Mai Huong, Binz, Den, Hoa Minzy... as well as the notable return of Vo Ha Tram, Cao Thai Son, Bao Anh...
Also an impressive year for Phuong My Chi
The "Male Singer of the Year" category recorded a big change in music taste, when 4 out of 5 nominees were rappers.
In fact, in recent years, the crossover between rapping and singing by rappers has also become popular. For example, in the EP Dan Xinh In Love, Binz also sings quite a lot. Rappers like Karik, HIEUTHUHAI, and tlinh also regularly demonstrate their melodic rap ability.

Phuong My Chi has dominated 7/10 nominations for Lan Song Xanh this year with 7 categories: Female Singer of the Year, Best New Face, Album of the Year, MV of the Year, Sound Mixing, Best Collaboration and Music Producer of the Year (for DTAP).
2023 continues to be a successful year for Van Mai Huong with many sweet fruits from the album "Minh tinh". This product helped Van Mai Huong get nominations in 6 categories including: Female singer of the year, Song of the year, MV of the year, Excellent collaboration, Album of the year and Music producer of the year (for Hua Kim Tuyen).
And also the year of the young
As a year of strong rap development, this mark is also clearly shown in Lan Song Xanh 2023. tlinh won big with nominations in 5 categories, including: Female singer of the year, Album of the year, Song of the year, Mixing and arranging, Music producer of the year (for 2pillz).
Meanwhile, Binz was nominated for 4 categories, including: Male Singer of the Year, MV of the Year, Music Producer of the Year (for Touliver) and Mixing. Young rapper Double2T was nominated in 3 categories: Best New Face, Phenomenal Song and Song of the Year. HIEUTHUHAI also achieved the same position with 3 categories: Male Singer of the Year, Album of the Year and Mixing.
Vietnamese music turns a new page
After a year of mainstream activities, Tang Duy Tan has made a strong impression when bringing home 4 nominations in the categories: Phenomenal Song, Song of the Year, Excellent Collaboration and Male Singer of the Year through 2 hits "Turn on Love" and "Cat Doi Noi Sau". "Doi Ban Cung Tien" with Tang Duy Tan, Hoa Minzy, is also nominated in 4 categories: Song of the Year, MV of the Year, Excellent Collaboration and Female Singer of the Year.
