Son Tung M-TP competes with artists from 2 shows 'Brother'

In the nominations of the 2024 Green River Awards, Song Tang M-TP and the performers from the shows "Anh trai vuoá£at ngan chong thorn" and "Anh trai say hi" took the lead.

The organizers of the 2024 Green Wave Music Awards have just announced this year's nominations. Accordingly, the categories demonstrate their adherence to trends by fully recognizing the names and hottest music trends of the year.

This year, singer Son Tung M-TP leads the number of nominations with 5 categories: Male singer/rapper of the year, Song of the year, Phenomenal song, MV of the year and Producer of the year.

"Talented" Soobin is also not far behind with 3 individual nominations (Album of the Year, Breakthrough Singer and Male Singer/Rapper of the Year) and 4 joint nominations with the talented cast in Anh trai vu ngan cong gai , including 2 songs in the Mixing and Arranging category and one song in MV of the Year as well as one song in Excellent Collaboration.

In addition, the artists coming from the contest Anh trai say hi also covered the nominations such as Hieuthuhai, Quang Hung MasterD, Rhyder, Duong Domic...

The competition between these two top music reality shows has created an interesting highlight, contributing to making the nomination categories more exciting.

"Talented" Soobin is present in many important categories.

On the female side, Bich Phuong and Vu Cat Tuong each have 2 nominations. Director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu also has 2 nominations in the MV of the Year category for Hoa Ca (the theme song of Anh trai vu ngan cong gai) and Khong ra gi, the latest music product of Truc Nhan.

The two categories of Most Favorite Male Singer/Rapper and Most Favorite Female Singer/Rapper of the audience are still in the voting period.

Quang Hung MasterD and Hieuthuhai are 2 "say hi brothers" with many nominations.

This year, singer Jack also released the song Thien Ly Oi which received a lot of attention from the audience but was absent from the nominations for Lan Song Xanh 2024.

Regarding this issue, the representative of the Organizing Committee said that the Green Wave Music Awards focuses on the artist's image. In case the artist has a controversial image, the Organizing Committee will not nominate him/her for this award to ensure the purpose and meaning of honoring the artist.

In addition, the Green Wave Organizing Committee also decided to award achievement awards to musician Duong Thu and musician Bao Chan.

"They are the giants of Vietnamese music. The songs of these two musicians have been on the Blue Wave charts since the very first days and have also contributed to the success of singers such as My Linh, Hong Nhung, Thanh Lam,...", said the representative of the Organizing Committee.

Musicians Duong Thu and Bao Chan received the 27th Green Wave Achievement Award.

At the same time, the song Night Song composed by musician Bao Chan will be the first theme song of Lan Song Xanh 2024. The program will also have a theme song released in the near future.

Previously in 2021, the Green Wave Achievement Award was given to Lam Truong and Phuong Thanh. In 2022, the couple Dan Truong - Cam Ly received this award and in 2023 it was given to diva My Linh.

The 2024 Green Wave Awards Ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025 at Nguyen Du Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.
