Tom Fletcher, the UN's humanitarian chief, said the UN will mobilize emergency relief and response funds to support Myanmar and Thailand. Earlier, in a post on his X account, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent his best wishes to the people in the earthquake-affected areas of Myanmar and Thailand. He said India is ready to support in every way possible to help these countries.
