The event was attended by First Deputy Mayor Ryu Gwang-yeol, local officials, and representatives of Vietnamese and Korean enterprises such as FPT, Doobee Computing, FireZero, AJ2, and ThinkEye.
At the meeting, FPT and Yogin city leaders and business representatives discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of IT, semiconductors and digital transformation in the Vietnamese and Korean markets.
Yongin City is the city with the strongest technological development in Korea at present with investment in industrial zones such as the semiconductor industrial zone, the national industrial zone and the Korean government plans to invest 500,000 billion won (372.86 billion USD) to turn Yongin into a global chip manufacturing base. In addition, the city also implements export support projects, helping small and medium enterprises strengthen their global networks and access international markets.
