Along with that, Lien Chieu district also announced that students would be off school due to heavy rain and flooding on local roads.
Receiving the message at nearly 6:30 this morning, many parents who were preparing to take their children to school hurriedly looked for a place to leave their children so they could go to work.
Mr. Le Van Hoang, head of the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Vang district, said that some schools located in flooded areas or on partially flooded routes have also notified parents to let students stay home this morning.
Meanwhile, although Cam Le district has not yet announced that students will be off school, some groups of children and private kindergartens have asked parents for their opinions in chat groups to proactively get information.
This morning, to get the most comprehensive situation in preparation for welcoming children, the owner of the independent nursery group Tre Tho (Hoa An ward, Cam Le district) informed and asked parents for their opinions on whose houses were flooded, which roads around the area were flooded, and whether children could go to school or not to proactively handle the situation. At the same time, the representative of the nursery group reminded parents to be careful when taking their children to class.
