50 years ago, on April 15, 1974, the Ministry of Public Security solemnly held the launching ceremony of the Security Police Force (now the Mobile Police Force). Since then, April 15 every year has become the Traditional Day of the Mobile Police Force. After 50 years of building, fighting and growing, the Mobile Police Force has achieved many outstanding achievements and feats, making important contributions to the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, contributing to the glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Public Security Force.
On May 19, 2023, the Ministry of Public Security issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Mobile Police Force to strengthen propaganda, education on traditions, and encouragement; arouse pride and responsibility among officers and soldiers for the cause of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety; determined to build a regular, elite, and modern Mobile Police Force to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Accordingly, many activities within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Mobile Police Force were organized such as: Disseminating and thoroughly informing the officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security about the 50th anniversary of the Mobile Police Force; compiling and publishing the book "Chronicle of historical events of the Mobile Police Force (1974 - 2024); publishing the book "Photo yearbook of the Mobile Police Force 50 years of glorious tradition"; building the tradition room of the Mobile Police Command; organizing the Writing Contest and the Music and Literature Composition Camp with the theme "Mobile Police - Steel Shield Protecting Peaceful Life"; Artistic Photography Contest and Art Composition Camp on the theme "Mobile Police - 50 years of building, fighting and growing up"; Youth Camp and commendation of exemplary Mobile Police Youth for the third time in the entire Mobile Police Force; Organize activities of "repaying gratitude", "remembering the source when drinking water", visiting families of policy beneficiaries, wounded and sick soldiers, retired cadres, families of cadres and soldiers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the anniversary...

From now until the 50th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Mobile Police Force, the Mobile Police Command hopes that press and media agencies will focus on promoting the Ceremony of reporting achievements to Uncle Ho, visiting President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offering incense to the heroic martyrs at Bac Son Memorial, Hanoi on April 13; the art performance program to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Mobile Police Force on the evening of April 13, at Ho Guom Theater. In particular, the focus will be on the Ceremony to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Mobile Police Force and receiving the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces on April 14.

The Deputy Director of the Public Security Communications Department requested that press reporters continue to coordinate with the Mobile Police Command and the Public Security Communications Department to closely monitor the schedule of commemorative activities, contact points, share information, proactively promote events in the right direction of the Ministry of Public Security, in accordance with the principles and purposes of press agencies, not to reveal or leak State secrets, thereby creating a spread in the community so that people of all walks of life can understand, support and help more for the Mobile Police force in particular and the Public Security force in general in performing their duties.
