(Dan Tri) - Upon receiving news that a little girl had gotten lost while watching fireworks on New Year's Eve, the Mobile Police Force of Lang Son Police quickly helped the family search for her and bring her home safely.
According to Lang Son Provincial Police, at 00:30 on January 29 (the first day of Tet), the Mobile Police Patrol Team was on duty on Ly Thai To Street (Lang Son City) when they received a report from Mr. NTL (68 years old, residing in Dong Kinh Ward, Lang Son City) about his lost granddaughter TH (11 years old, residing in Thai Nguyen).
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, TH from Thai Nguyen came to Lang Son to celebrate Tet with his grandparents. While watching the New Year's Eve fireworks on Hung Vuong Street, he got lost.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Patrol Team reported to the unit leaders and coordinated with the working groups of Lang Son City Police to search for the child.
At 1:30 a.m. the same day, authorities discovered a girl with similar identifying characteristics to TH on Quang Trung Street, Chi Lang Ward, Lang Son City.
After confirming that it was H., the Working Group notified and handed over the child to the family.
