Many world-famous chefs will show off their skills in preparing ocean tuna in Binh Dinh.

On June 18, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that the 2024 Quintessence of Binh Dinh Land and Sea Festival with the theme "Binh Dinh - Aspiration for the Sea" will be held for the first time in Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh) from July 11 to 15.

The opening ceremony of the Tinh Hoa Dat Bien Binh Dinh festival took place on the evening of July 11 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City) with the participation of professional singers such as: Quang Dung, Min, Kyo York, Pham Anh Duy, rapper Phuc Bo, rapper Rick, rapper 9Fire, Gio Viet dance group, Giai Dieu Viet singing group, Sac Viet singing group, Phuong Nam Theater...

One of the highlights of the festival “Tinh hoa dat bien Binh Dinh” is the workshop on Developing the exploitation, processing and trade promotion of ocean tuna in Binh Dinh province and the program introducing the art of ocean tuna cuisine. The program will serve 1,500 free meals for visitors at the children's park on An Duong Vuong Street (Quy Nhon City) at 5:30 p.m. from July 11 to 15.

Binh Dinh is one of the localities with the largest tuna catch in the country.

According to the organizers, chefs from Ho Chi Minh City, Japan, and Australia prepared very creative, nutritious, and unique dishes from tuna.

In particular, Chef Kim Bernard Chilcott, Culinary Director of AL Frescos Group, created the tuna salad and spicy coconut sauce; Chef Ly Kim Long, top 100 chefs in the world in 2023, WorldChefs judge, prepared tuna curry with Tam Quan coconut (Binh Dinh); Mr. Matsuo Tomoyuki, Chairman of the Vietnam - Japan Culinary Culture Association, prepared the Matsuri Tekka dish (tuna sushi combo)...
