Sharing with Thanh Nien, musician Hoai An said that since the early 2000s, he has started using traditional musical materials as well as traditional instruments in his compositions and arrangements. However, from 2013 until now, this direction has become increasingly clear and has become a "priority" in his music. "I always wanted to have traditional instruments appear in a Tet music clip, with top performing artists. And that is also the reason why this product was born," he said.
Not only is the idea unique, but this product also shows us the connection between veteran artists and young singers with great potential. These are traditional musical artists: Meritorious Artist Dinh Linh, Meritorious Artist Hai Phuong, Meritorious Artist Anh Tan, Meritorious Artist Thu Thuy, artist Cao Ho Nga. Although they are very busy, when they heard the idea of musician Hoai An, all the names tried to arrange their time to participate in the MV Chuc Xuan (expected to be released on December 25).
Sharing about his appearance, Meritorious Artist Hai Phuong said: "I participated in this song not only because it is a song that is very suitable for the rhythm and spirit of Tet, but also because it is a project of people I love. I know that you not only want to renew a song that has been recorded and performed, but more than that, you want to bring the breath of folk music into the work."

With the participation of 25 artists (Luong Tan Phat, Duong Ngoc Ha, Thanh Nguyen, Thien Phu, Khanh Hue, Doan Dai Hoa, Le Xuan Nghi, Hien Le, Tieu Thuy, Holy Truong Diem, Le Vu Phuong, Linzy, Duy Linh, Huynh Dang, Cong Thanh, Van Trieu, Minh Nguyet, Nhu Bee, Tanh Linh, Ngoc Diem, Nguyen Yunie, Bang Trang, Thao Sugar, Ngoc Tien, Leo Minh Tuan) and a production team of more than 30 people, musician Hoai An said the biggest difficulty was time. Because the recording time was near the end of the year, every artist was busy with their own work. In addition, unfavorable weather conditions, such as scattered rain, few sunny days... also affected the recording.
Among the young artists, there is a relatively special name: violinist Hien Le. She is a part of the "new generation" Du Ca group founded and sponsored by musician Tran Tien. Regarding the combination of a Western instrument into a song with many traditional elements, musician Hoai An shared: "In a colorful MV like Chuc Xuan , each appearance is calculated to have a highlight and difference. Singer - musician Hien Le often sings and performs the violin together, so we put a short violin line after her singing to add more liveliness."
Artist Cao Ho Nga also confided: "The participation of traditional musical instrument artists in music projects is always a good opportunity to spread this genre closer to the public. I hope there will be more works and songs combining traditional and modern music so that young people can accept traditional music more naturally!"
