Overcoming Nguyen Hai Huy and Tran Nguyen Manh, Viettel midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc won the best player award. The best coach award went to Bozidar Bandovic of Hanoi FC.

Hoang Duc maintained stability in Viettel's challenging season, with outstanding contributions of five goals and five assists in 20 matches. He and his teammates finished the season in third place with 32 points - six points less than the two leading teams CAHN and Hanoi FC.
Last season, this award went to Nguyen Van Quyet. This season, the captain of Hanoi continued to show his leading role, scoring nine goals and providing nine assists. However, he was not nominated due to being disciplined for eight matches for a fight with the assistant referee after the loss to Binh Dinh in round 7 of phase I.

In the Coach category, the victory belonged to Bozidar Bandovic . Although he could not help Hanoi FC defend the title, the coach born in 1969 was still highly appreciated for his ability to build a playing style and steer the club through a difficult period when losing captain Nguyen Van Quyet. In the runner-up position, he and his students were only behind the champion CAHN in terms of goal difference.
To win, the Montenegrin coach surpassed coaches Thach Bao Khanh (Viettel) and Chu Dinh Nghiem (Hai Phong) in the shortlist. CAHN was not nominated due to two coaching changes, while the person who could compete with Bandovic, coach Velizar Popov (Thanh Hoa), lost points due to receiving many penalty cards and being banned from coaching one match.

Born in 1969, Bandovic was a defender who played for Red Star Belgrade, Olympiacos and PAOK. He retired in 2002 and pursued a coaching career as an assistant at Greek clubs. In 2014, he went to Southeast Asia to work as Technical Director of Buriram United in Thailand and then led BEC Tero Sasana, Sisaket. In 2017, he returned to lead Buriram United to win two Thai League 1 championships in 2017 and 2018, and reached the 1/8 round of the 2018 AFC Champions League. After that, he went to India to work at Chennaiyin Club before coming to Hanoi FC and winning the 2022 National Super Cup title.
The typical lineup of V-League 2023 is: goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh (Nam Dinh); defenders Doan Van Hau, Vu Van Thanh (CAHN), Nguyen Thanh Binh (Viettel), Bui Hoang Viet Anh (Hanoi FC); midfielders Nguyen Hoang Duc, Lam Ti Phong (Thanh Hoa), Nguyen Hai Huy (Hai Phong), Bui Van Duc (Ha Tinh); strikers Pham Tuan Hai, Rafaelson (Binh Dinh).
Rafaelson received the Golden Boot award with 16 goals, six more than Bruno Cunha (Thanh Hoa) and Jhon Cley (CAHN). Meanwhile, the Best Goal belonged to Tran Phi Son (Ha Tinh) against Binh Dinh in round 5 of phase I.
The title of Best Young Player belongs to Nguyen Thai Son (Thanh Hoa Club). Not only is he a regular starter and has appeared in a total of 15 matches, the 20-year-old midfielder has also been given the captain's armband many times by coach Popov.
