In addition, the children also heard the story of Mr. Cuoi and Ms. Hang, thereby helping them understand and feel more clearly the meaning of this traditional cultural festival.

Also yesterday, the Association of Vietnamese in Okinawa (AVO), Japan also organized a Mid-Autumn Festival event for Vietnamese children in Okinawa. This event attracted hundreds of children, parents and young men and women to participate. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, President of the Association of Vietnamese in Okinawa, said that the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a traditional holiday of the Vietnamese people, but this is also a meaningful time in Vietnamese culture, an opportunity for children to feel the care, affection and attachment of the community around them.
