On September 9, speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, the leader of Nghia Tan Ward People's Committee (Gia Nghia City) said that after being mobilized, the person who arbitrarily built a concrete road, encroaching on Dak R'tih stream, the section below the Gia Nghia bypass bridge (area belonging to Nghia Tan Ward) voluntarily dismantled this section of road.
The illegally built concrete road in Nghia Tan Ward (Gia Nghia City, Dak Nong) has been demolished.
Previously, on August 16, Gia Nghia City People's Committee sent a document responding to Thanh Nien Newspaper, regarding the article "Stream encroachment to 'create views': Not returning to the original status, encroachment continues".
According to the content of the document, after the article of Thanh Nien Newspaper was published (August 9), Nghia Tan Ward People's Committee sent forces to the Dak R'tih stream encroachment area (under the Gia Nghia bypass bridge) to inspect.
Through inspection, the People's Committee of Nghia Tan Ward discovered and recorded the current status of a 70 m long, 3 m wide concrete road adjacent to the bypass road to the fish pond. The authorities are consolidating the file to handle the act of encroaching on the stream and using land for the wrong purpose against Mr. H., who committed the violation.
Notably, in December 2022, Mr. H. was administratively fined by the People's Committee of Nghia Tan Ward for "land destruction"; the authorities requested that he return the land to its original state. Mr. H. paid the fine but continued to build concrete roads as mentioned above.

Regarding solutions, Gia Nghia City People's Committee said it will continue to strengthen direction and urge local authorities and relevant agencies to require violators to thoroughly correct their violations.
In addition, Gia Nghia City People's Committee directed units to inspect, review, and establish records to handle administrative violations in the above areas. For cases of repeated and serious violations, Gia Nghia City People's Committee requested the People's Committees of wards, communes, departments, and offices to transfer the records to the police for investigation and handling according to regulations.
