Man dies, donates organs to save 11 people

The man named Saket Dandvate, 30 years old, lives in Virar city (India). He had just got married 5 months ago. But on May 19, Saket unfortunately had a car accident, according to News18 news channel (India).

The organs of Saket Dandvate, who unfortunately died in a traffic accident, saved 11 others.

The accident took place near Bengaluru, more than 1,000 km from Virar's hometown. He unfortunately passed away in the accident. His death came as a huge shock to his family.

Saket’s parents, both doctors, agreed to donate his organs when they heard that their son was dying. His wife, Apurva, also agreed. Saket’s organs have helped save 11 other patients and given them a chance to live. Local media did not disclose which organs were donated or who received them.

"Saket's parents, Dr Vineet and Dr Sumedha, have agreed to donate their deceased son's organs," Dr Santosh Kadam, secretary of the Indian Medical Association, said in a statement.

Not long ago, a similar incident was recorded in Kerala city (India). A 16-year-old male student, Sarang, studying in class 10, unfortunately passed away in a traffic accident. His family agreed to donate his organs and since then has saved 6 other people, according to News18 .
