The Premier League will hear 115 allegations of financial fraud against Man City by the end of 2024, with a verdict expected in the summer of 2025.

The trial, which is said to be the history of world football, will take place at the end of next year. According to the Daily Mail , the agreement was reached between the Premier League and Man City. They will face an independent commission. If the proceedings go as planned, the final verdict is likely to be given in the summer of 2025.

Man City were accused by the Premier League of 115 breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations in February, after an investigation was launched in 2018. Throughout the incident, both the league and the Etihad Stadium team remained tight-lipped and refused to comment when asked for information.

Those with knowledge of the matter believe a final decision will be made at the end of next season, when Pep Guardiola's current contract with Man City is due to expire.

The investigation is currently taking witness statements, and the process will last until next spring. If delayed, the case could drag on for more than two years. In the event that either party is dissatisfied with the final verdict, they can appeal.

Man City have several ways to escape this charge. But they will not be able to appeal to the Supreme Court of Arbitration, as they did when they escaped a Champions League ban from UEFA.

The Etihad club were found guilty of breaching FFP over 14 seasons, dating back to 2009-10. The charges include breaches of financial reporting and failure to cooperate with a Premier League investigation. Man City deny any wrongdoing.

Everton were found guilty of breaching financial fair play rules in March, a month after Man City. They were docked 10 points earlier this month and have lodged an appeal.
