Notably, in the work of building and perfecting institutions, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has focused on reviewing, promoting the amendment, supplementation, and perfecting of specialized legal policies with 20 legal documents, contributing to removing "bottlenecks" and "knots" to create new spaces for the development of the Ministry and the Sector.

The highlight is that the National Assembly passed the Law on Cultural Heritage and the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period with high consensus. “The cultural sector, including the cultural industry, has many bright spots. Specifically and most recently, the success of the concerts “Anh trai say hi” and “Anh trai vu ngan cong gai”. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will study these two concerts in more detail to build and replicate them, contributing to the development of the cultural industry in the coming time. However, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism also said that how to build and replicate such models needs to be studied further,” Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy emphasized.
At the event, People's Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac, Director of the Department of Performing Arts (DPA), also said that over the past time, the DPA has carefully researched and grasped data on the two concerts mentioned above, and at the same time, discussed thoroughly with the two units organizing these programs to create the best conditions.
Director Nguyen Xuan Bac also shared that if we sold tickets forever but no one bought them, now there will be no tickets to sell. Mr. Bac agreed with the opinions that we are in the early stages of the cultural industry. The Department of Performing Arts will also continue to create conditions, have the best mechanisms and policies for performance organizers such as the organizers of the two concerts above.

In addition to the above comments, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also informed about many other bright spots of the culture, sports and tourism sector in 2020 in general and the fourth quarter of 2024 in particular. Notably, in terms of tourism, in 2024, Vietnam welcomed 17.5 million international visitors, an increase of 38.9% over the same period in 2023; domestic visitors are estimated at 110 million, an increase of 1.6% over the same period in 2023. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at about 840 trillion VND, an increase of 23.8% over the same period in 2023.
According to Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Le Phuc, this is the result of many efforts and attempts, and by September 2024, tourism leaders were quite worried about the set target of welcoming 17-18 million international visitors and 110 million domestic visitors. Currently, the tourism industry is setting a rather ambitious target of welcoming and serving 22-23 million international visitors; 120-130 million domestic visitors; and total tourism revenue is estimated at 980-1,050 trillion VND.
In addition, many other achievements of the culture and sports sector were also reported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Specifically, regarding cultural heritage, "The reliefs on 9 bronze cauldrons in the Hue Imperial Palace" were listed in the UNESCO List of Documentary Heritage of the Asia-Pacific region; "The Festival of the Lady of Sam Mountain" was listed in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity; 9 national special relics were ranked; 29 artifacts and groups of artifacts were recognized as national treasures; 32 national relics were ranked; 86 intangible cultural heritages were included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage, bringing the total number of intangible cultural heritages included in this List to 620 heritages... Many national-scale competitions, contests, performances and exhibitions were successfully organized...

Notably, in 2024, Vietnamese Sports won 1,214 international medals (including 482 gold medals, 360 silver medals, 372 bronze medals).
