The dispatch stated that during the April 30 - May 1 holiday and the peak summer tourist season in 2025, travel and transportation demand is forecast to increase, creating greater pressure on traffic safety work, posing a high risk of traffic accidents and traffic congestion.

The Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to proactively follow the actual situation, urge and supervise the best implementation of traffic safety activities according to their functions and tasks during the peak holiday season of April 30 - May 1 and the peak summer tourism season of 2025.

Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities direct agencies, units and functional forces to review local plans, ensuring close adherence to plans and directions of ministries and branches.

Focus on managing and controlling common violations during holidays, routes, areas and times with high risk of traffic accidents and traffic jams in the area. Integrate traffic safety assurance into the organization of transportation, tourism and resort activities in the area; organize 24/7 duty during holidays.

Ministries, branches and localities announce hotline numbers on traffic safety to receive and promptly handle people's feedback during the holidays.
