The 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 in the province

Delegates take photos at the opening ceremony of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 in the province.

The series of activities for the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 in the province will take place from April 17 to 19, 2025, at the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center. The main messages of the series of events are: "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Entering the era of national growth with books", "Reading books - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity".

Provincial activities include: Displaying some map documents on "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa of Vietnam - Historical and legal evidence", exhibition of images of the province's economic , cultural and social achievements and the art photo collection "Ben Tre - Aspiration to reach far", thematic book "Day of Southern Liberation, National Reunification", books on the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, displaying books by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. In particular, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Library will display the book "Nguyen Dinh Chieu's Selected Poems" which holds a world and Vietnamese record.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam and delegates visited the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 in the province.

Along with that are competitions and festivals: Provincial reading culture space exhibition competition in 2025, Book appreciation competition in 2025, the 5th Provincial Radio Story and Talking Book Competition in 2025, creative product competition, theme "Application of technology in ensuring traffic safety and developing tourism in Ben Tre", "Green innovation - hydraulic vehicles" competition, the 6th Provincial Robocon competition in 2025. Exchange activities, art performances, book introductions and cultural and artistic activities, exchanges of hobby clubs to celebrate the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day on April 19, exchanges of authors, works, thematic talks with the theme "Telling stories of the Great Victory Day".

The opening ceremony of the Book Day series of activities combined with the opening of the program "Gratitude of Coconut Homeland - Aspiration to Reach Far" for the second time in 2025 organized by the Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Liaison Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ben Tre Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City and the Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Journalists Club in Ho Chi Minh City, aims to promote the image of Ben Tre homeland through cultural exchange activities, art performances, helping to spread the spirit of love for the coconut homeland to the Ben Tre community.

At the event, the organizers awarded 10 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, each worth 10 million VND.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam awarded first prize to author Nguyen Thuong Toan with the work "Construction Night (Rach Mieu 2 Bridge)".

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to 16 winning works at the art photography contest "Ben Tre - Aspiration to Reach Far in 2025".
