In the bustling spring atmosphere, blessings and prayers for a smooth and harmonious new year become the topics mentioned in many spring songs, but there is another spring song that makes listeners feel heartbroken. That is the song Tet Xa Que by young artist Tina Chau Le that is being mentioned by netizens.

Although it is a spring song, the song is sad because of the feelings and thoughts of people far from home during the Tet holiday.

"Whoever listens to this song will want to cry because they want to go home but can't", "Tet in the countryside is the happiest, sitting and watching mom wrap banh chung. Mom's Tet is when I come home", "I just hope I can celebrate Tet with my parents every year", "It's been a long time since I've heard such a good spring song", "This song about family is very touching, listening to the sad voice makes me feel sad too", "Thank you for the beautiful and touching song", "I haven't been home for Tet in 8 years, listening to spring music makes my heart ache"... Those are some of the comments from the audience when listening to the song "Tet far from home" by Tina Chau Le.

It is not an outstanding spring song but it is a song that can touch the deep emotions of the listeners. Especially for the audience who are in a situation where they cannot return home to celebrate Tet with their families, this song is for the listeners.

Tina Chau Le was born abroad so she has some limitations in Vietnamese.

"Tet Xa Que" thus becomes the story of each person. And that is the reason why the song easily captures the emotions of the listener. "I wrote the first Vietnamese song called Tet Xa Que about Tet days away from home, about the passing of time and the message of peace. I am filled with love for my community, thank you for nurturing my love and passion" - Tina Chau Le shared. That also explains why the song has received many compliments from the audience as soon as it was released.

Born in Kyiv and having lived in Ukraine for more than 10 years and then settled in the US, Tina Chau Le is not fluent in Vietnamese. But for Tina, Vietnamese culture and language are "blood flowing in her blood".

Therefore, she always tries to learn Vietnamese with the help of her family. Although she studied ballet since she was young, Tina loves to sing. At the age of 15, she participated in the VStar contest organized by a Vietnamese music center overseas and won two awards: "Promising Young Singer" and "Most Favorite Friendly Singer".

But she always spends a lot of time researching and learning Vietnamese.

She also sings and is loved for the songs "Ten Dinh Phu Van" and "Em Di Chua Huong". In college, Tina was selected to study film music composition at Berkeley University and graduated in 2020. After graduating, Tina worked as an assistant to composer Zoë Keating on the film Oslo, and the film's score was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2021.

Tina Chau Le released the album "The year of" with the MVs "Tender", "Egg" ... in 2022. The topics of love between men and women, cultural differences, and burning issues of modern American society that young people are struggling to solve in order to live and work for a better world are all mentioned in the album.

This is the first time Tina Chau Le has composed a Vietnamese song.
