From simple ingredients such as pork intestines, rice, rice paper, fish sauce and raw vegetables, this dish becomes delicious and attractive. The rice is soaked overnight, then drained and rinsed until creating each pure white noodle.

The ingredients of the dish include thin rice paper, fresh vermicelli sprinkled with scallions and fat, boiled pork intestines and served with raw vegetables and tamarind fish sauce. At first glance, the dish is simply decorated. However, if you look closely, you will see that to have a delicious dish, the chef must be very careful in the preparation and selection of ingredients.

The pig intestines must be fresh and new, then cleaned before being boiled. Add a little secret "processed in ice water" so that the pig intestines will shrink when eaten, not soft, slightly crispy and delicious. The main ingredient to create the dish is rice vermicelli. When enjoying, the pig intestines will be rolled with rice vermicelli, vegetables and rice paper and then dipped in tamarind fish sauce to create a unique flavor of a dish.

In particular, the tamarind dipping sauce is a unique and indispensable feature of Phan Thiet's pork intestine rice vermicelli. Instead of the usual fish sauce, the mixture of finely ground garlic and chili, sugar, tamarind juice and a little salt creates a delicate sweet and sour taste. The perfect combination of the fatty taste of coconut oil, the sweetness of rice, the richness of pork liver, pork belly and soft boiled intestines, along with the aroma of chives, creates the delicious flavor typical of Binh Thuan's pork intestine rice vermicelli.
