Nghe An: Highlights on May 19

* These days, all the streets of Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan) are filled with flags and banners celebrating the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the Sen Village Festival in 2024. People from all over the country come here in a common joy, the joy of reunion in the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho, the Father of the nation.

* On the morning of May 19, in Hue City, the Coordination Council of the North Central and Central Coast regions held its 4th conference. Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that the Prime Minister's approval of the North Central and Central Coast Region Planning, along with the approval of the Provincial Planning of 14 localities in the region, is a favorable condition for implementing the goals and tasks set forth in Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo on socio-economic development of the North Central and Central Coast regions.

* On the morning of May 19, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Agencies organized the Final Round of the 2024 Excellent Party Cell Secretary Competition. At the end of the conference, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 3 Consolation prizes.

* These days, Nghe An farmers are actively harvesting rice and preparing the land for the summer-autumn crop. Especially, farmers in Dien Chau and Yen Thanh districts have started planting rice in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
