Olympic Running Day and Dak Nong Provincial Cross Country Race 2025

On the morning of March 26, in Gia Nghia City, nearly 2,000 people participated in the Olympic Running Day for Community Health and the 19th Dak Nong Provincial Cross-Country Race.

The Olympic Running Day for Community Health and the 19th Dak Nong Provincial Cross Country Race attracted the participation of nearly 2,000 people, including nearly 200 professional athletes.

At the program, athletes participated in 2 categories: Olympic running and cross-country running. In the cross-country, athletes competed in individual, team, and group categories for the team and amateur system.

The team system includes the following competition categories: 7km men's team, 7km men's team, 4km women's team, 4km women's team, 5km youth men's team, 5km youth men's team, 3km youth women's team, 3km youth women's team.

The movement system includes: 3km women's movement, 3km women's team movement, 5km men's movement, 5km men's team movement.

The Olympic Run for Community Health and Dak Nong Provincial Cross Country Race are activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Gia Nghia City (March 23, 1975 - March 23, 2025); the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025); the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day and the day Uncle Ho wrote the article "Exercise and Health" calling on people to exercise (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and major national holidays in 2025.

The Olympic Running Day contributes to encouraging a large number of people from all walks of life to participate in physical exercise and sports, responding to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Healthy to build a career and defend the country".

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates and 1,700 cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members, youth, and students from agencies, units, organizations, and schools in the district participated in the Olympic Run for the Health of the People with a distance of 1km.

As a result, the first prize for the grassroots group belonged to the Runners Club; the first prize for the national team group belonged to Tuy Duc district.
