Thai durian A costs from 120,000 - 140,000 VND/kg, type B costs from 100,000 - 120,000 VND/kg, type C costs from 60,000 VND/kg.

AB pork belly costs from 60,000 - 65,000 VND/kg, CD pork belly costs from 50,000 - 55,000 VND/kg. Pork belly costs from 38,000 - 40,000 VND/kg.

On March 24, a shipment of 24 tons of frozen durian from Dak Lak province was cleared for export to China. This is also the first shipment of frozen durian to be exported since China and Vietnam signed the frozen durian import-export protocol in August 2024.

Experts and businesses believe that the export of frozen durian to China will open up new opportunities for Vietnam's billion-dollar fruit in a market with the largest durian consumption in the world.

According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Hieu, Head of the Department of Agricultural and Food Preservation Technology, Institute of Agricultural Mechanics and Post-Harvest Technology, frozen durian has outstanding advantages compared to exporting fresh fruit.

Vietnamese durian has recently faced many difficulties when some samples tested had yellow stains on the surface of the fruit peel. If it is exported frozen in peeled form, there will be almost no barriers or worries about this risk.
