"As you know, we have held talks with our ally, with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, on the deployment of part of this tactical weapon on the territory of Belarus. It has already happened - the first nuclear warheads have been delivered to the territory of Belarus. This is the first batch. We will complete this work by the end of the year," Putin said in his speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The Russian president stressed that this measure will have a deterrent effect. At the same event, President Putin said that he has a negative view of the possibility of using tactical nuclear weapons.
