Russian aviation is active on the Chasov Yar front.

On the key Chasov Yar front, the Russian military has increased its aviation activities. Observers say the increased Russian fighter sorties have led to significant changes on the front as Ukrainian positions have been repeatedly attacked and destroyed.

The use of high-explosive aerial bombs (HAB) with UMPC demonstrates the increasing effectiveness of the Russian Air Force. In addition to the effective operations of the Air Force, Russian artillery has also been active and contributed to the important advances of the Russian army at the front.

Experts stress that Russian aviation is increasingly using precision-guided munitions, allowing them to accurately strike military targets, thereby minimizing risks to civilians.

“The increase in the number of sorties is only one side of the coin, since the quality of operations is also significantly improved thanks to the use of modern technologies, ensuring high accuracy of strikes on targets,” the AVP military analyst noted.

Russia attacks Ukraine's key transport hub

On April 19, Russia launched a missile attack on an important transport hub of Kiev forces in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

Airstrikes targeted a bus station as well as a locomotive depot in the city of Dnipro. As a result, local railway operations were temporarily disrupted.

According to the Ukrainian railways, infrastructure was damaged not only in the city but also in many other parts of the region.

A local port on the Dnipro River was also attacked. According to photos posted on social media, several boats were destroyed or damaged.

According to SF, there have also been reports of Russian missile attacks on infrastructure and other targets in the cities of Synelnykove, Pavlohrad and Kryvyi Rih.

Kiev forces said that Kh-22 missiles launched from Tu-22M3 strategic bombers as well as Kh-59/69 and Kh-101/555 air-launched cruise missiles were used in the attacks. In addition, several Geran-1/2 suicide drones were also used.

The Russian military resumed large-scale attacks on Ukrainian military targets last month, after Kiev launched multiple missile and suicide drone attacks on several Russian border regions.
