(VTC News) - Right from her first appearance on stage at the Miss Vietnamese Students contest - Southern region, Yen Nhi left many good impressions on the judges and viewers.
Huynh Nguyen Yen Nhi - a student of the Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) excellently surpassed nearly 40 contestants to win the highest title at the Miss Vietnamese Students - Southern region contest.
With body measurements of 86-66-94cm, the beauty from Tien Giang is considered one of the contestants with an outstanding standard body and an attractive, bright face on stage.
Before achieving her impressive measurements, Yen Nhi's weight once reached 62kg.
Deciding to join the contest, the beauty seriously trained and adjusted her diet to regain her balanced figure. In just one month, Yen Nhi successfully lost 8kg.
"I am still continuing to practice to achieve the most standard body measurements," Yen Nhi shared.
In addition to losing weight, Yen Nhi's journey to the beauty queen title was also a matter of relentless effort. There were many times when she felt exhausted during the training process for the contest, but she never once thought of the word "giving up".
Sharing her feelings after being crowned, Yen Nhi said she was very surprised because she did not think her name would be called. “The moment I was crowned, my emotions exploded because my hard work and efforts were recognized by everyone. This is a beautiful ending to the memorable journey,” Yen Nhi shared.
The time of the Miss Vietnam Student contest - Southern region is when Yen Nhi enters the peak period of studying for the final exam of the semester. The beauty is trying to balance her side activities so that her study results are not affected. For Yen Nhi, studying is always the top priority.
In the future, if possible, Yen Nhi hopes to try her hand at other beauty contests to improve herself and expand her relationships, helping her field of study.
The national final round of the Miss Student Vietnam contest is expected to take place in January 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City. Yen Nhi is also actively studying to achieve the best results.
