Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao, Head of Planning Department, City Department of Tourism, said that in the coming time, the city will continue to promote and improve the quality of tourism products through coordination with districts and Thu Duc City; promote community tourism in Thieng Lieng - Can Gio; develop short-range waterway tourism routes, culinary tourism, golf tourism, and conference tourism (MICE).

At the conference, businesses proposed that the tourism industry should connect and improve the quality of typical tourism products of districts and Thu Duc City to attract more domestic and foreign tourists. Mr. Tran The Dung, General Director of Vietluxtour Travel Company, said that it is necessary to connect products of districts, select truly attractive destinations to introduce to tourists as well as invest in more night tourism products to increase tourist spending.
"Many tourists tend to travel nearby in the context of economic difficulties, this is an opportunity to effectively exploit typical tourism products for business groups.
