On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and the celebration of the Year of the Dragon, the Hanoi Museum organizes the exhibition "Year of the Dragon tells the story of the dragon" along with many meaningful activities.
The exhibition introduces more than 100 artifacts and artworks from the Hanoi Museum and the collections of several artisans, including three themes: Dragon images in religious and belief architecture; Dragon images in daily life and Dragon images in contemporary life.

Here, visitors can also admire works of applied art, using the image of dragons in contemporary language, created by artists on the basis of promoting national cultural identity.
Unique handicraft products create diverse, rich and attractive colors for viewers.
Not only displaying dragon paintings, Hanoi Museum also introduces the flavor of Hanoi Tet through documentary photos, art paintings, miniature landscape installations with red firecrackers, banh chung, the custom of erecting a pole, playing with parallel sentences, playing with paintings, asking for calligraphy, the hobby of growing bonsai, going to the Tet market...
On this occasion, the Museum also organizes discussions and activities to share beautiful photos taken here with the theme: Spring Moments.
The above activities aim to continue implementing Program 06-CTr/TU of the Hanoi Party Committee on Cultural Development, Improving the Quality of Human Resources, Building Elegant and Civilized Hanoians in the 2021-2025 period; at the same time, promote communication, increase interaction on the Hanoi Museum's Fanpage, and interact with visitors on the occasion of the beginning of Spring 2024.
