On April 14, at the Palace of the Revolution (Palacio de la Revolución), First Secretary and President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel hosted a reception for the Vietnamese delegation.
In his speech, Mr. Miguel Díaz-Canel emphasized that 2025 is a special milestone with a series of important events: 65 years of establishing Vietnam-Cuba diplomatic relations, 95 years of founding the Communist Party of Vietnam , 50 years of Liberation of the South and 80 years of Vietnam's National Day.

During the visit, the delegation had meetings with senior Cuban leaders, including Governor of the State Bank Juana Lilia Delgado Portal, Minister of Finance and Prices Vladimir Regueiro Ale and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Oscar Pérez Oliva-Fraga.

The event demonstrated the spirit of "mutual love", affirming Vietnam's commitment to accompany Cuba in the context of food difficulties.
