CNBC. Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra survived a no-confidence vote, after the opposition accused her of being incompetent and allowing her father to interfere in the government.

JAKARTA POST. Jakarta will deploy at least 3,500 fully operational public electric vehicle charging stations across Indonesia to serve tourists returning home for Eid al-Fitr.
ANTARA. Indonesia announced its decision to become a member of the New Development Bank (NDB), a multilateral development bank established by the five founding countries of the BRICS bloc .
"We were invited to join the New Development Bank and our financial sector assessed the opportunity. After consultation, the Indonesian government decided to join," said Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. |

EURONEWS. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has pledged to unveil a national plan to boost the defence sector , as Europe risks losing security protection from the United States.

AFP. Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva called on the South American Common Market (Mercosur) and Japan to sign a trade agreement to counter increasingly aggressive US protectionism.
Speaking during his visit to Tokyo on March 26, President Lula expressed: “I am convinced that we need to move towards signing an economic partnership agreement between Japan and Mercosur… Our two countries benefit more from integration than from protectionist measures.” |

REUTERS. Twenty Cameroonian soldiers were killed in an attack by Boko Haram militants in northeastern Nigeria, near the border with Cameroon.

REUTERS. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned that the military alliance would respond “devastatingly” to any attack from Russia on Poland or other allies.
