Many young entrepreneurs confirm that applying AI has helped businesses to be more convenient, develop, and achieve many successes.
Open up potential business opportunities
Mr. Tran Thanh Tung (also known as Tung BT), an expert in teaching innovative startups in many programs of the Department of Science and Technology nationwide, is also the owner of many startup projects in Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Tung said that he has applied artificial intelligence (AI) in startups on a regular basis.
According to Mr. Tung, AI application will help startups to be more convenient and develop.
"Specifically, when creating content, making business marketing plans, needing promotional videos, wanting to design product images..., I rely on AI. Even when I want to look up market data, AI has helped me get data quickly, completely, and accurately. In the past, when I didn't know how to use AI, this (looking up market data - PV) could cost up to hundreds of millions to hire companies to do it," said Mr. Tung. This innovative startup teaching expert shared: "It can be affirmed that AI has helped startups make more breakthroughs. If before AI appeared, my company had 30 - 50 employees, now there are only about 10 employees. And everyone in the company applies AI to life in general and work in particular. Thanks to that, work productivity has increased, work better, contributing to the company's prosperous development." Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Executive Committee Member of the Southern Startup Support Advisory Council, General Director of SBooks Joint Stock Company, also affirmed that AI should be applied in the startup process. "At my company, I have applied AI in creating communication content, analyzing customer behavior data, converting paper books to audiobooks. AI can help startups optimize operations," said Mr. Dung. Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Hien, Director of Skill Media Company Limited, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, also said that she has been applying AI to her business for a year now. According to Ms. Hien, she mainly "relies on" AI to support in designing images, videos, building advertising communication campaigns. In addition, writing, synthesizing information... AI is "responsible" for everything perfectly. "The company's revenue has increased, a significant part of which is thanks to the help of AI," said Ms. Hien, adding: "All employees of the company have the skills to use AI." From the perspective of an AI expert, Mr. Ho Pham Minh Nhat, a first-class professor at the University of Texas - Austin, USA, believes that for young people who have, are, or are planning to start a business, being well-equipped with AI skills can help develop their business startups, opening up potential and successful business opportunities. "Some of the main reasons for using AI in startups can bring many significant benefits and increase the likelihood of success. That is, AI can help businesses automate many tasks, saving a lot of time and operating costs. In addition, by using AI, startups can also better understand market trends and customer behavior, thereby bringing high business performance. Not only that, integrating AI into products also creates novelty, advancement, and appeal. Thereby attracting a lot of customer attention, increasing competitiveness in the market," Mr. Nhat analyzed.
"Powerful assistant" named AI
In addition to startups, young people have been applying AI in their lives quite a lot, because they see the positive aspects that AI brings.

DJ Linh Quyen (26 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) said she often uses AI to help create "unique" music that does not violate copyright. "AI is quite smart when mixing music and creating music that is exactly what I want. Many of my colleagues also apply AI in their work," the DJ shared. Photographer Nguyen Tuan Khai (also known as Kmon Nguyen, living in Ho Chi Minh City), who is famous for his "simple" photography style, also said he uses AI in both his life and work. "In the context of AI being widely "covered" as it is today, I think it is necessary to equip myself with AI skills. I research and learn to understand AI. I occasionally use it when necessary, especially when looking up information," Khai said. Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang, a specialist at the VinAI Residency Program (under VinAI Artificial Intelligence Research and Application Joint Stock Company, Vingroup), said that AI has become her "effective assistant" at work. "AI helps optimize my writing ability. To have coherent sentences, I need to write well. Sometimes I have some ideas in my head but don't know what to write, so I can write down my wishes and intentions and ask for AI's support. In addition, when I need to write an internal announcement or email to a partner, AI will receive the "command". Then AI will write and edit itself to correct spelling. AI will also edit itself if I need to add or remove ideas," Ms. Hang said. Before the "rise" of AI, some schools have also had specific activities to help students and teachers access AI. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Principal of Lac Hong University (Dong Nai), said that the school regularly organizes seminars on AI applications in learning for students and in work for lecturers. "At the end of April, many professional staff and lecturers participated in a training program on AI applications in foreign language teaching at universities, colleges and educational institutions nationwide organized by Seameo's Regional Training Center in Vietnam. The goal of the program is to help students master the functions of some AI tools, know how to use and combine many different AI tools effectively. The purpose is to meet teaching goals and help improve teaching quality," said Dr. Hien. Dr. Nguyen Van Son, Department of Communications and Student Affairs, Thuyloi University Branch, said that when AI is of great interest, the school also keeps up with that development by organizing talks for students to learn about ChatGPT and AI platforms.
