Mr. Hoang Khac Dinh, Group 3, Muong Thanh Ward, Dien Bien Phu City, said: “The Party and State have invested in building many bridges across the Nam Rom River, which have practically served the transportation needs of officials and people. Mr. Pham Xuan Phong, Noong Luong Commune, Dien Bien District, shared: "My family has been involved in vegetable growing for 27 years. For many years, my family has only grown vegetables along the Nam Rom River thanks to the fertile alluvial soil, so vegetables grow well, bringing the family a significant source of income."

The Nam Rom River used to face pollution due to untreated domestic and agricultural waste. However, thanks to the determination of all levels and sectors, the river is gradually regaining its original beauty. River improvement and wastewater treatment programs are gradually giving the Nam Rom River a new look.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, Group 4, Thanh Binh Ward, Dien Bien Phu City, said: “The Nam Rom River Basin Multi-Disaster Project is being implemented in Group 4, as a resident, I strongly support it. When the Party and State invest, I think the value of the river is very high.”
