Thunderstorms in Hanoi cause trees to fall and crush cars

At around 6pm, in many areas in Hanoi such as Hoang Mai, Thanh Tri, Thuong Tin, Hai Ba Trung, Thanh Xuan... there was heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, causing a series of trees to fall.

Recorded on a series of streets such as Lang, Van Tan, Nguyen Phan Chanh, Bang Liet, Bui Quoc Khai, trees fell on cars... causing traffic congestion.

At around 7pm tonight, a thunderstorm hit with strong winds, knocking down many trees in the Linh Dam peninsula area, Hoang Liet, Hanoi.

At the intersection of Nguyen Huu Tho - Nguyen Duy Trinh, an old tree fell and crushed a car.

The fallen tree caused traffic congestion in the area.

Currently, people and authorities are processing the scene.
