Chinese electric car model can travel more than 1,000 km on a single charge

Electric car company Nio has just launched the new sedan ET7. Notably, this is the first electric car in the world that can travel more than 1,000 km on a single charge.

Thanks to this remarkable development, ET7 has become a big challenge for other electric car manufacturers, especially the American brand Tesla.

According to Nio's announcement, William Li, founder and CEO of Nio, tested the ET7 by driving for more than 14 hours, traveling a distance of up to 1,044 km from Shanghai to Zhejiang and Fujian (China).

The remaining battery level after this journey was about 3%, demonstrating the impressive performance of this car.

The highest-end Nio ET7 version has a battery pack of up to 150 kWh, helping the car run more than 1,000 km per full charge.

What makes the ET7 stand out from its competitors is its large 150 kWh battery pack, 2.5 times the battery of the Tesla Model Y RWD.

Battery technology and the ability to cool 6 times faster than conventional batteries have helped Nio ET7 achieve the record for the longest driving range for an electric vehicle.

Not limited to China, Nio has expanded its battery swapping station network to Europe, including the Netherlands, Norway, and Germany.

With 1,360 battery swapping stations in China and 13 in Europe, Nio is creating a system of support and convenience for its users.

The Nio ET7's impressive performance and performance not only beat the Tesla Model S, but also directly challenged the Lucid Air's world record for longest driving range.

Despite its massive mass, the ability to steadily accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds makes the ET7 a formidable competitor in the world of electric vehicles.

The ET7 currently has three battery pack versions for users to choose from. The low-end model has a 70 kWh battery that allows for 499 km per charge, while the 100 kWh version has a range of 700 km. The highest version has a 150 kWh battery that allows the car to run 1,000 km per full charge.

The car starts at $69,000 for the 70 kWh battery pack version, and $78,000 for the 100 kWh version. If customers only lease the battery, the price drops to $58,000, but they will have to pay $150 and $230 per month for the battery, respectively.
