On the morning of November 19, 2023, Vietravel Tourism Company - Nghe An Branch coordinated with the Board of Directors of Ha Tinh Orphanage (SOS Village) to organize the program "Give wings to your dreams" for more than 40 students, to explore and visit the Kim Lien relic site - where artifacts about Him are preserved.
During the tour, the tour guide introduced the children to the history and memorable events in their paternal and maternal hometowns and Chung Son Temple - the place where Uncle Ho's ancestors are worshiped.
The students were extremely excited and eager throughout the trip. This was also the first time they had explored a new journey, a new destination far away from the beloved SOS home they were attached to every day.
The children are eagerly preparing for the trip.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Deputy Director of SOS Children's Village Ha Tinh emotionally shared: "The program came to the Children's Village as a chance because the children had been looking forward to a trip to visit Uncle Ho's hometown that we had not been able to do yet. So when receiving sponsorship for the visit to Kim Lien relic site from Vietravel Nghe An, the children were very happy because their wish had come true. On behalf of the Children's Village, I would like to send my sincere thanks to the company for bringing a very meaningful trip, as well as new and unforgettable experiences to the children".
The children were introduced to the relic of Nguyen Sinh Sac's house - where President Ho Chi Minh lived for 5 years during his childhood.
Children take souvenir photos at the destination
Ms. Cao Thi Thanh - Deputy Director of Vietravel Nghe An confided that she always hopes that programs like "Give wings to your dreams" will reach and spread more widely, to help more children in difficult circumstances. Someone once said "Love grows through giving. The love we give is the only love we keep". This is probably the greatest happiness for everyone, not just children.
