Gia Lam District Youth Union Secretary Pham Van Phong shared that after implementation, the District Team Council has socialized more than 50 million VND, received 76 letters from students and organized gift giving with a total value of nearly 30 million VND to 12 students with difficult circumstances. The Association also proposed that the Hanoi Youth Union give a gift worth 5 million VND to a team member with special circumstances. Through the program, the District Team Council grasps the thoughts and wishes of many students with difficult circumstances to direct the Unions to provide timely support.

In Da Ton commune, in the face of many fires causing great damage to property and people occurring in the capital in 2024, the Commune Veterans Association has consulted with the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee to build a clever mass mobilization model "Establishing 5 veteran shock teams to participate in fire prevention, fighting, rescue and relief in 5 villages, combined with mobilizing the families of association members and people in the commune to equip themselves with fire extinguishers".

Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Ton Commune, Dinh Van Giang, said: In May 2024, the commune launched 5 veteran shock groups to participate in fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and disaster relief and achieved practical results in mobilizing people to buy fire extinguishers. The villages of Le Xa, Ngoc Dong, Dao Xuyen, Thuan Ton, Khoan Te bought nearly 3,000 fire extinguishers; organizations and unions, such as the Youth Union, Farmers' Association, Women's Union and many individuals donated 134 extinguishers to households in difficult circumstances... The commune also installed 55 points of public fire fighting equipment.

The Commune Veterans Association coordinated with the Commune Police to organize propaganda on fire prevention and fighting measures, how to use fire extinguishers, and escape skills in case of fire, which received the participation of many people, contributing to reducing the risk of fire in the area.

With the determination to keep the roads and residential areas clean and beautiful, organizations and unions in Gia Lam district have joined hands to implement. Chairwoman of Dang Xa Commune Women's Union Ngo Thi Hong Hue said that the Union coordinated with Hoang Long village to choose a 620m long road as a model self-managed women's road, blooming in 2024. Cadres, party members, union members, youth union members and people responded, contributing funds and working days to plant 100 pots of bougainvillea, 56 flower pots of pearls, ten o'clock flowers, and paint on the roadside walls, with a total area of ​​350m2. The project was completed with a total value of more than 143 million VND.

In particular, the project "Self-managed women's road and street, blooming model in 2024" of the Commune Women's Union was recognized as a skillful mass mobilization project at the city level on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

Not only joining hands to beautify their homeland, the people of Gia Lam district also have special affection for the beloved Truong Sa island district of the Fatherland. A typical example is the skillful mass mobilization model of Bat Trang commune "Socializing the entire population and 2 craft villages to design and produce synchronously more than 15,000 Bat Trang ceramic products as gifts for the people and soldiers of Truong Sa island district on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital"

Chairman of Bat Trang Commune People's Committee Pham Huy Khoi informed that in 2024, Bat Trang mobilized social resources to make practical ceramic products to donate to Truong Sa - where cadres, soldiers and people are living and performing the task of protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland. The commune has connected with the "Vu A Dinh" Scholarship Fund and the "For Hoang Sa, Truong Sa Beloved" Club, the Naval Region 4 Command - the unit assigned to manage and protect the airspace and sea of ​​Truong Sa archipelago to carry out this meaningful program.

With the spirit of patriotism, towards Truong Sa, the sea and islands of the Fatherland, the cadres, businessmen, artisans and people of Bat Trang commune joined hands to make more than 15,000 traditional ceramic products, including: 10,000 rice bowls, 3,000 ceramic bowls of 22mm diameter, 4,000 plates of all kinds, 600 tea sets, 600 water bottles with lids and cups, 3,000 cups with handles with traditional glaze colors and the best quality, with a total value of more than 800 million VND, which were presented by the Party Committee, government and people of Bat Trang commune to cadres, soldiers and people in Truong Sa archipelago on August 1, 2024. Notably, the design of the patterns on the ceramic products is the lotus motif - the national flower of Vietnam, the image of the country's map, the symbol of the sovereignty milestone of the sea and islands of Truong Sa archipelago with the words "Bat Trang with Truong Sa".

Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Gia Lam District Party Committee Dao Xuan Truong said that in recent years, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has always focused on leading, directing, and effectively organizing the mass mobilization work of the political system, especially the activities of the mass mobilization groups in villages and residential groups in the district. Thanks to that, the mass mobilization work and the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" in the district have achieved high results.

Typically, in 2024, the district Fatherland Front and the grassroots promoted patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, coordinated to launch support funds: "For the sea and islands", "Repaying gratitude", "For the poor", received 6.3 billion VND; called for support for people affected by storms and floods, received more than 7 billion VND and transferred 6.6 billion VND to the city; supported households in difficult and near-poor circumstances, built 13 new houses, repaired 1 solidarity house... totaling more than 1.56 billion VND. The district Labor Federation organized programs "Tet sum vay", "Tet union market", supported the Union shelter, gave 1,825 gifts... to workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances, worth more than 2.2 billion VND; mobilized support for compatriots affected by storm No. 3 with more than 2 billion VND. The District Women's Union and the grassroots level coordinated with the Social Policy Bank to disburse more than 113 billion VND to more than 1,600 households for loans to develop the economy, helping 56 women start businesses, introducing jobs to 1,125 female workers... The District Farmers' Union planted and posted signs for 14 "Farmer tree rows", 7 "Model Farmer roads", planted 741 trees of all kinds over a total length of more than 8,680m, posted signs for 15 clean fields with a total area of ​​99ha...

In 2024, Gia Lam district had 397 collective and individual models registering for the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model and 1 model was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the City People's Committee; 2 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" projects at the city level, 5 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" projects at the district level were placed on signs; 36 typical "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models at the district level were recognized...

Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lam District People's Council Nguyen Tien Viet affirmed that, based on the results achieved from the emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization, in 2025 and the following years, the district will continue to effectively implement the action program to implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels on mass mobilization work; strictly implement the regulations on mass mobilization work of the local political system; innovate and improve the quality of leadership and direction of the Party Committee at all levels on mass mobilization work in a practical and effective direction. Promote emulation movements and propaganda, replicate models and typical examples of "Skillful Mass Mobilization" in all areas of social life, people's livelihood and key tasks of the district, such as site clearance, urban beautification, landscape and environmental protection, etc.
