MANBO, brother of HIEUTHUHAI, HURRYKNG, Negav, come on!

Rapper MANBO is a prominent face in Rap Viet season 4. In the near future, he, along with HIEUTHUHAI, HURRYKNG, will perform in the 8Wonder Winter 2024 Music Festival taking place in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of December 8.

MANBO is confidently entering the next round of Rap Viet season 4. He passed the casting, entered the conquest round, was chosen by all four coaches and fought over him.

Finally, coach Karik used his first choice to bring him to his team. In the confrontation round, MANBO continued to win resoundingly.

But MANBO's journey to Rap Viet was quite bumpy. In all three previous seasons, MANBO competed and failed the casting round.

In the latest season 4, he was also unsuccessful in the casting in Ho Chi Minh City. But MANBO did not give up, flying to Hanoi to find himself another opportunity.

It was this determination that made judge JustaTee thank MANBO: “You deserve more than that. On the casting day in Saigon, you accidentally misread a beat. Honestly, my heart almost fell out of my chest. Luckily, you pursued it to the end. Thank you very much.”

Manbo does not let everyone down again

MANBO is a member and one of the founders of GERDNANG. This team is becoming more and more famous and well-known.

However, while HIEUTHUHAI, HURRYKNG and Negav stood out, participating in one show after another, MANBO was the most quiet and insignificant member.

MANBO confidently affirmed to Tuoi Tre : "I will not let everyone down again."

MANBO's real name is Lam Bach Phuc Hau, born in 1999. He considers himself a simple person:

“I spend a lot of time on music, composing, recording and preparing for the next products. Occasionally I meet my bandmates and friends.”

When asked what MANBO has prepared for the upcoming Rap Viet journey, he answered simply: "I have a clear direction for my musical journey as well as determined the musical characteristics that I will put into it. That color and personality will be shown through the upcoming album."

“I really don’t want to say much about myself, but I want people to know my music. I want to show everyone my ability through each music product. Besides, I want to explore myself, accumulate more experience for the upcoming musical journey,” he said.

MANBO also said he is looking forward to meeting and performing on the same stage with the band Imagine Dragons, the prestigious owner of the GRAMMY award at the 8Wonder Winter 2024 Music Festival in Ho Chi Minh City.

"I know the band Imagine Dragons and have listened to their music. This is a band with a very strong musical personality and also quite suitable for my musical identity," MANBO shared.

HIEUTHUHAI and MANBO started at the same place. But in Rap Viet 2024 they are in two different positions.

HIEUTHUHAI sat on the same level as judges JustaTee and Thai VG, giving opinions and exchanging experiences with the contestants in the confrontation round.

The way HIEUTHUHAI and MANBO treat each other shows that it is a beautiful friendship, regardless of position or role, who is more important than who.

After finishing his performance, MANBO also brought out his close friend to entice the audience to vote for him.
