Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has assigned high schools to provide accounts and passwords to 12th grade students and guide candidates in preparing documents to register for the online high school graduation exam.
The candidate's account on the exam management system is the citizen identification number (CCCD) or identity card (CMND) or personal identification number (PIN) issued by the police agency.
For candidates who do not have a CCCD/CMND/DDCN or do not have Vietnamese nationality, use the passport number instead. In case the candidate does not have a CCCD/CMND/DDCN/passport number, the exam management system will assign the candidate a 12-character code.
The Department of Education and Training also noted that when updating photos on the system, students must ensure the resolution is 400x600 pixels, taken in the style of a citizen identification card and no more than 6 months before the application submission date.

To ensure accurate high school graduation exam information, after schools print information from the exam management system (exam registration form, graduation recognition registration form), students review and sign to confirm.
Independent candidates with transcripts of a high school program must register for the exam according to the regulations for that program. In case a candidate has lost the original high school transcript and wishes to take the exam in 2024, he/she must have a certified copy of the transcript issued or a copy of the high school study results or be confirmed by the Department of Education and Training (based on comparison with the records of the high school where he/she studied grade 12 or based on the exam records of previous exams).

High schools need to carefully check the application documents (compare between the transcripts, birth certificates, diplomas, certificates, etc.) to ensure absolute accuracy of full name, date of birth, place of birth (full district, province, city); fill in all columns, no torn, erased items, with full signatures of the person responsible for each part and of the management level...; make a list of students (according to the form of the Ministry of Education and Training) consistent with the birth certificate, transcripts, note cases of preferential treatment, incentives (if any).
After the trial exam registration, from today (May 2), 12th grade students officially register for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
The Department of Education and Training also emphasized that the principal is fully responsible for the exam conditions of students in the school. Check all exam registration documents and documents related to the exam, consider the exam conditions of candidates; decide not to allow candidates to take the exam if they do not meet the requirements or if their documents are invalid.
The principal must pay attention to checking and cross-checking many times, such as printing out the list for checking and asking candidates to sign to confirm that they have read the details clearly. Especially note: elective subjects, priority policy areas, additional incentive points, foreign languages... The homeroom teacher must take the time to clearly state and fully detail the student's profile so that each person can check and give their opinion.
