Designer Le Ngoc Lam introduces the "Huong" Ao Dai collection to welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025 with 30 unique designs combining traditional motifs (lotus, phoenix) and modern trends (bows, 3D butterflies).
Designer Le Ngoc Lam has just launched the "Huong" ao dai collection with about 30 unique designs, bearing his personal mark. The collection was performed by a trio of beauties including Miss Luong Thuy Linh, runner-up Phuong Anh and runner-up Ngoc Thao.
"Huong" is inspired by the beauty of spring with the vibrant colors of flowers, the golden sunlight and the joyful atmosphere of nature. The designer born in 1990 has skillfully transformed these emotions into highly practical ao dai designs.
The highlight of the collection lies in the unique printed motifs, from lotus flowers, lotus leaves to images of flamingos and phoenixes - symbols of nobility and fertility. In particular, the butterfly motif trend 2024-2025 is diversely expressed by the designer through the outstanding 3D embroidery technique on the body of the shirt or stylized on the neck and shoulders of the shirt.
In terms of materials, the collection uses high-quality fabrics such as silk, brocade and chiffon. The main color palette includes sweet pastel tones such as pink, blue, yellow, along with the popular burgundy red. The ombre color processing technique is delicately applied to create a layered effect. Some designs are also embellished with feathers, adding a soft, feminine look.
Following the success of the bow-adorned ao dai that "caused a fever" during Tet 2024, designer Le Ngoc Lam introduced many new variations with the highlight being small bows made from organza fabric, elaborately processed all over the body of the dress.
He also created a variety of collar styles from bib, asymmetrical to cut-out, combined with see-through sleeves, bringing a modern look to traditional costumes.
Looking back at 2024, designer Le Ngoc Lam has left many impressions with the "Morning Dew" collection at Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest, along with applied collections such as Liberté, Precious, Confetti. He is also the designer trusted by many international beauty queens to choose costumes for competitions. In 2025, this 9X designer is planning to hold a personal show.
