Ceremony of attaching the signboard of Quy Nhon Port 110 kV Transformer Station
(BĐ) - On the afternoon of April 15, in Quy Nhon City, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) held a ceremony to put up the signboard of the 110 kV Quy Nhon Port Transformer Station (TBA) and make connections. The key project was completed 3 months ahead of schedule.

The project has a total investment of 298 billion VND, with a scale of 110/22 kV transformer station with a capacity of 2x63 MVA (1 machine installed in this phase), along with 5.8 km of lines (overhead and underground cables) and 1 feeder at Dong Da transformer station. The project is relatively complicated to construct, spread over 4 wards of Quy Nhon City, construction items requiring high technology such as overhead lines using single-body steel poles, 110 kV underground cable lines located along sidewalks with dense population and near tourist areas, the locality often organizes festivals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Huu Danh, Deputy General Director of EVNCPC, emphasized: The project plays an important role in improving the power supply capacity for Quy Nhon City, supporting the load sharing for neighboring 110 kV substations, reducing the power supply radius and increasing the reliability of power supply in the city center. Despite many difficulties in terms of site clearance, construction permits, especially the construction of underground cable lines through densely populated areas, the units have made continuous efforts, even at night, to ensure quality and aesthetics.
EVNCPC Party Committee registered the project to be completed to celebrate the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Electricity Group Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 and other important events such as the 15th Congress of the EVNCPC Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 taking place on April 18; to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of EVNCPC (October 7, 1975 - October 7, 2025).
