Series of private schools enrolling first graders for the 2025-2026 school year

(Dan Tri) - Nguyen Binh Khiem, Hanoi Star, and Archimedes schools have announced enrollment for grade 1 for the 2025-2026 school year.

Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School - Cau Giay enrolls 150 students for grade 1, divided into 5 classes according to two models: high quality and bilingual.

The school's admission process is one-on-one interviews and observation of children in group activities and physical games. Admission results are announced after one week.

Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai Primary, Secondary and High School enrolls 15 first grade classes, each class has 32 students.

The school has two admission methods for two groups of students. Students who join the school's pre-primary club will take an aptitude test and interview with the school board.

Students who do not participate in this club will take a centralized assessment on December 9. Before that, all candidates need to submit an audition video according to specific requirements from the school.

Hanoi Star Private Primary and Secondary School enrolls 9 first grade classes, each class has 32 students.

The admission form is similar to Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai. However, the ability assessment of Ngoi Sao Hanoi school has many differences.

The school's capacity assessment time is January 11, 2025.

Students who wish to take the 1B0 Advanced English class will have to take a separate English proficiency test. The specific schedule has not been announced.

Archimedes School System has also announced enrollment for the program "Preparing children for grade 1". The enrollment target is children born in 2019. The program starts on December 7.

Students participating in this program have an advantage in the school's official entrance exam as well as receive incentives for their contributions at the beginning of the school year.

For high-quality public primary schools, the entrance exam schedule for grade 1 usually takes place in June every year. The time for schools to send out notices is around mid-May every year.
