We, along with Major Nguyen Ngoc Thuong, Civil Affairs Assistant of Division 320, visited Mr. Brung's family in Tieng 2 village, Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city. In the solidly built house, Mr. Brung's voice was emotional: "If it weren't for the help of the "thirty-twenty" soldiers, my family would have been living in this dilapidated, degraded house for many years now...".

In fact, we learned that Mr. Brung's family works for hire all year round, with an unstable income. Even if they are frugal, they can only make enough to eat, let alone build a new house. In such a difficult situation, Division 320 supported 70 million VND and mobilized nearly 100 working days to help the family build a solid house of nearly 60 square meters . Since having the new house, Mr. Brung's family has been able to do business with peace of mind.

Officers and soldiers of Regiment 48, Division 320 participated in the launching ceremony to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Gao commune, Pleiku city.

Talking to us about the results of the mass mobilization work, Colonel Vo Son Anh, Political Commissar of Division 320 said: “In just two years 2023 and 2024, the unit has supported nearly 2 billion VND to implement the program "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" for 71 students in border communes of Duc Co district and built 4 gratitude houses, gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances, families with preferential policies in Pleiku city. Also in this area, the Division mobilized nearly 200 working days to help Bien Ho commune plant trees, help Tan Son commune clear nearly 2,000m of intra-field canals, clean up inter-village roads with a length of more than 1.8km; weed and clean inter-commune roads... The agencies and units of the Division have donated 1,000kg of rice to families with preferential policies, poor households, and lonely elderly people in difficult circumstances in Gao commune and Bien Ho commune (Pleiku city). Pleiku). The Division also coordinated with the authorities of Duc Co and Chu Prong districts (Gia Lai) to improve the environmental landscape, repair 4 community houses, 2 schools; create regular jobs for nearly 100 ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances with an average income of 3.8 to 4 million VND/household/month. Agencies and units under Division 320 also visited and presented nearly 200 gifts (each worth 250,000 VND) to disadvantaged and poor households; donated nearly 200 sets of clothes, planted 400 rosewood trees along inter-commune roads...

It is known that Division 320 is implementing the Project "Socio-economic development - model of soldiers associated with ethnic minority and mountainous areas". Accordingly, the unit implemented a model of breeding cows in Ia Lang commune (Duc Co district) with a total cost of more than 3.5 billion VND, 66 households benefited. Up to now, the initial 132 mother cows have given birth to 13 more calves...

Over the years, generations of officers and soldiers of Division 320 have always been close, shared difficulties, and helped the people where the unit was stationed and performed their duties. Talking about the role of Division 320 in mass mobilization work, comrade Nguyen Quoc Vinh, Chairman of Bien Ho Commune People's Committee affirmed: "In recent years, Division 320 has regularly coordinated with the locality to carry out mass mobilization activities. The army speaks, the people listen; the army guides, the people follow. The army helps people have enough food and a bright head. The deep affection between the army and the people, solidarity, and close attachment are the spiritual strength that helps our locality overcome difficulties and hardships."
