Long Xuyen City Labor Federation establishes new grassroots union

- On the afternoon of March 27, Long Xuyen City Labor Federation organized the admission of union members and announced the establishment of the grassroots union Branch 4 - TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company. Head of the Organization and Inspection Committee of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Truong Tung Son; Chairman of Long Xuyen City Labor Federation Truong Van Chiem attended.

Accordingly, the Long Xuyen City Labor Federation admitted 220 new employees of Branch 4 - TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company into the Vietnam Trade Union. At the same time, a grassroots trade union was established, a provisional trade union executive committee of 5 members was appointed, with Mr. Tran Van Tung holding the position of Chairman of the grassroots trade union; and a grassroots trade union inspection committee of 3 members was established.

According to the plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2025, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions will continue to diversify forms and methods of mobilization and propaganda... Focus on attracting workers in enterprises and the informal sector to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
