50th Anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day: Impressive, large-scale, and magnificent program

Historical gratitude

Half a century since the liberation milestone, April 3, 1975, the Lam Dong plateau has undergone many changes and developments. Lam Dong, with its heart being Da Lat city, has today become an attractive destination for tourism and investment and an endless source of inspiration for artistic creations.

The 50th anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day not only shows respect and gratitude for the past but also depicts the half-century journey of construction and development filled with proud emotions.

The celebration is expected to be attended by Central leaders; leaders and former leaders of Lam Dong province; representatives of leaders of some provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Giang and provinces in the South Central and Central Highlands Emulation Cluster; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, unions and central agencies in the area.

Attending the ceremony were revolutionary elders, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the armed forces, heroes of labor; representatives of religious organizations; thousands of cadres, party members, civil servants, soldiers of the armed forces, youth union members and a large number of people, domestic and international tourists...

As an event of great significance, the Commemoration Ceremony was held to review the heroic fighting tradition of the Vietnamese people in general, and the army and people of Lam Dong in particular, thereby widely propagating and educating the entire Party, people and army about the stature, value and great historical significance of the resistance war against the US to save the country, the Great Victory in the spring of 1975, liberating the South and unifying the country.

The Lam Dong plateau today has a rare beauty, with abundant and endless potential. That new appearance was built and developed on the foundation of the heroic past. Today's generation always remembers the merits and sacrifices of the previous generation, with unforgettable marks of a time of war.

The foundation from that heroic past has contributed to fostering and creating sacred values ​​for today's life, and is the fire and constant motivation that urges the steps of Lam Dong on a new day.

Looking back on the past 50 years, the Anniversary is a great festival of Lam Dong province; an opportunity to promote potentials and strengths, create a highlight to attract investment and be a driving force for comprehensive development of all local areas in the coming time.

The program of the Anniversary Ceremony includes a ceremony and an art program. The ceremony includes the following contents: a commemorative speech; awarding of the Medal for the Cause of Building and Developing Lam Dong Province; speeches by veterans from the Northern battlefield supporting Lam Dong; speeches by leaders of the Central Government and Lam Dong Province.

100% live performance, no lip-syncing

The art program with the theme “South Central Highlands celebrates liberation day” is the highlight of the celebration. In the middle of Lam Vien Square, on a spacious, modern stage, the multi-colored harmony of art forms in the program promises to bring many emotions to the audience.

Artists participating in the program

Participating in the art program are artists who have made their mark in the Vietnamese music scene such as Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Tran Tua, Diva My Linh, singer Khanh Linh; singer Isaac; musician Yphon Ksor; violinist Trinh Minh Hien; the band "Time Stream" with young girls Xuan Nhi, Quynh Thi, Phuong Anh; singers and artists from Lam Dong Cultural and Arts Center. Participating in the program are 70 dancers from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong.

General Director - Artistic Director, musician Le Minh Son said: "With a duration of 70 minutes, the art program "South Central Highlands Happy Liberation Day" will bring an extremely cool art space, a space filled with emotions.

The difference is that in this program, 100% of the performances are live, there is no "lip-syncing". This element will bring the audience very real, deep, passionate and sincere emotions.

The performances in the program are all elaborately staged, and are practiced by artists from many regions for months before connecting and practicing together in Lam Dong.

The captivating prelude is the solo violin performance “A Country Full of Joy” (composed by musician Hoang Ha), which will resonate with the beautiful sounds of the violin of talented female artist Trinh Minh Hien.

The art program consists of two parts: Revolutionary Music and Popular Music. The music flows throughout, is tightly structured in 70 minutes, including 3 chapters: Liberation of the South; Joyful Liberation of the Southern Central Highlands and New Day of Lam Dong.

In part 1, the audience will be immersed in a majestic musical atmosphere, starting with the dance performance "Sacred Pestle Rhythm" (composed by musician Quoc Vinh), with the participation of 70 dancers from Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, and Hanoi.

This is an epic work, through music and dance to tell the origin story of ethnic minorities in Lam Dong in particular and the Central Highlands provinces in general.

The art program has a large number of participating artists, many big names in the Vietnamese music industry.

Following is the flow of music with a boiling atmosphere, the musical tempo is accelerated to bring listeners back to heroic historical moments through the songs: "Five brothers on the tank"; "Melody of the Fatherland"; "Country"; "The storm is rising".

Part 2 of the program, titled “The Southern Central Highlands rejoices in liberation”, will continue the endless stream of proud emotions of love for the homeland and country, with songs whose melodies have become immortal: “Vietnam’s posture”; “Song of hope”; “Eastern Truong Son, Western Truong Son”; “Hello, liberation army, hello, spring of liberation”; “The Southern Central Highlands rejoices in liberation”.

The appearance of Lam Dong in the new day is depicted in the joyful and bustling sounds in part 3, with the songs: "Da Lat, the heroic city"; "Chim Phi flies back to the origin"; "Hello Langbiang spring"; "Love song".

Extending the joyful emotions in the popular music section are songs with fresh sounds, popular works in the Vietnamese music market, performed by diva My Linh: "Huong Ngoc Lan"; "April Comes"; "Toc Ngan".

Another special thing is that the program has no commentary, the entire story about culture, history, and the development stages of Lam Dong from the milestone of half a century ago until today has been skillfully connected and led by General Director Le Minh Son and his crew with musical emotions, with climaxes, sediments, and even explosive, sublime moments.

Interspersed with singing and dancing performances are elaborately produced short clips and reportage films, contributing to the messages and emotions that the art program wishes to convey to the audience.

Musician Le Minh Son said that the artists and the entire crew participating in the program are currently urgently practicing and implementing related tasks, with a passion and desire to create a program with a special mark, a song with many beautiful melodies on the poetic and attractive land of Lam Dong.
