The Emulation and Reward Committee of Ha Tinh province sought public opinions to propose the President to posthumously award the honorary title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother to two cases.
Pursuant to the Law on Emulation and Commendation dated June 15, 2022; Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation; The Provincial Emulation and Commendation Committee solicited public opinions on Ha Tinh Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station on the proposal for the President to posthumously award the honorary title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother to 2 individuals.
Specifically, Ms. Nguyen Thi Em (born in 1912, originally from Thach Vinh commune, now Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district), has 2 children who are martyrs (Nguyen Duc Thuan and Nguyen Duc Thoa), was awarded the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate by the Prime Minister.
Ms. Tran Thi Ngon (born in 1906, originally from Thach Ngoc commune, Thach Ha district), has 2 children who are martyrs (Nguyen Dang Ngon, Nguyen Dang Loc), was awarded the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate by the Prime Minister.
People can give their opinions by sending a document (with signature, full name, phone number, contact address) and sending it to the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board (No. 86, Phan Dinh Phung Street, Ha Tinh City).
After 7 days of posting, if there is no feedback from the People, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Committee will carry out the procedures and processes to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the levels of rewards according to regulations.
