On October 11, in Pleiku City (Gia Lai), Gia Lai - Kon Tum Customs Department organized the 2024 Customs - Business Dialogue Conference with the participation of leaders of local departments, branches and more than 20 import-export enterprises. Mr. Bui Tran Nhan Tri - Deputy General Director of THILOGI attended the conference.
At the conference, businesses shared difficulties and obstacles in their operations; at the same time, they recommended that customs authorities promptly develop solutions to speed up customs clearance, creating conditions for businesses to shorten the time to carry out procedures, reduce operating costs and improve operational efficiency. Leaders of the Customs Department, the Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board and relevant agencies answered questions and guided businesses to carry out procedures in accordance with legal regulations; at the same time, introduced and disseminated new regulations, regimes and policies on import and export goods, means of transport for export - import - transit, etc.
As a business that regularly exploits and transports goods through Kon Tum and Gia Lai, on average each month, THILOGI transports nearly 600 shipments through Bo Y and Le Thanh border gates, focusing on agricultural products, agricultural materials, livestock, animal feed, mechanical equipment, etc. THILOGI hopes to continue to receive the attention and support of agencies and authorities so that the business can maximize its operational capacity, contributing to the development of the local economy and society.
On this occasion, THILOGI and representatives of enterprises signed a Customs-Enterprise cooperation agreement with the Gia Lai - Kon Tum Customs Department.
