After the unit commander's call for donations, officers, soldiers of Battalion 145 and guest delegates enthusiastically responded. The program continuously updated the list of kind-hearted people, sharing some of the difficulties with the families of 6 new soldiers in difficult circumstances. Captain Truong Quoc Nghi, Deputy Political Commissar of Battalion 145 shared: "We hope that through this activity, we will help the families of soldiers in difficult circumstances; at the same time, encourage the soldiers to feel more secure in their work, overcome difficulties and complete their tasks well."

Before joining the army, Private Do Quoc Huy, a soldier of Squad 6 (Platoon 2, Company 513) was a Shopee agent in Cai Rang District, Can Tho City; although his income was not high, it was enough to help his family cover their living expenses. Private Do Quoc Huy shared: “Every day, my parents work as workers in Hung Phu 1 Industrial Park from morning to evening. Last week, my mother's cardiovascular disease relapsed, and I was very worried. With the money I received, I sent it home to buy medicine for my mother and pay tuition for my sister who is in 9th grade.”

Officers of Company 573 (Battalion 145, Brigade 226) met and encouraged soldiers.

Private Tran Minh Quan, a soldier of Squad 7 (Platoon 3, Company 573), has lived with his grandmother in Giai Xuan commune (Phong Dien, Can Tho city) since he was a child. For more than 18 years, the two have relied on each other in a charity house on land rented by relatives, earning a living by weaving bamboo baskets. Private Tran Minh Quan said: “My grandmother is 70 years old this year but still weaves baskets every day, each one sells for about 20,000 to 30,000 VND. When I was at home, I helped my grandmother split and cut bamboo. Now that I have received this gift, plus the savings allowance, I send it all back to my grandmother.”

In the same situation as Quan, Private Tran Gia Bao, a soldier of Squad 4, Platoon 2, Company 573, from Binh Tan District (Vinh Long), when he was still at home, helped his grandparents sell lottery tickets and load goods. Gia Bao confided: "I am truly touched by the affection of everyone in the unit and the twinned locality. I promise to study hard, practice well, and not let down the affection of my comrades and teammates."

The list of supporters in the "Comradely Love" night, in addition to officers and soldiers, also includes many union members and young people from sister units in the stationed area. Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Binh Thuy Ward, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City shared: "We mobilized and received enthusiastic participation and response from many union members and young people". At the end of the "Comradely Love" night, each family of soldiers in difficult circumstances received support of more than 2 million VND. Although the amount is not much, it is a source of spiritual encouragement, adding strength for families to rise up in life; helping soldiers feel secure in their work, striving to fulfill their military service well".
