According to Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment, the average score of this exam was 618.4. Among the exams, 142 candidates scored 1,000 points or more.

The lowest scorer only scored 40 points. Compared to the same period last year, the valedictorian score decreased by 16 points, and the average score decreased by 25 points.

However, according to Mr. Chinh's assessment, this year's score distribution is quite standard, demonstrating the ability to clearly classify candidates, helping schools easily select suitable candidates.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City National University will not issue paper certificates of exam results as before. Instead, from April 21, candidates can proactively access the website http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn to look up and download electronic certificates. This form is more convenient for both candidates and admission units.

The second round of the exam will take place on June 1 in 11 provinces and cities including Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang and An Giang. Candidates can register for the exam from April 17 to May 7.

Among more than 10 national capacity and thinking assessment exams, the exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University is the largest in scale, with 106 universities and colleges using the results for admission.
