Opening with the question "Why did Ha disappear, who is the man in black with a red umbrella with her, is he her lover?", the play immediately creates suspense and appeal. Using the "reverse timeline" storytelling technique, starting with 2022 then 2009, 2004, 1992, the play captivates the audience until the end. This way of telling also gradually reveals the hidden corners, the secrets hidden in the hearts of each character along with the reasons for their actions. Nghia with a pure student love but so deeply engraved that it becomes a persistent, weary wait. Mrs. Sau anxiously waits for her clumsy daughter to return in the hands of forgiveness. Si always trusts his sister regardless of slander. Hiep and Hien are stubborn but wavering between nostalgia and resentment... Each character has very "human" feelings and obsessions that we can see somewhere in life. So that even if they disagree, viewers can still sympathize and be moved.
