Deputy Director General Nguyen Thanh Binh has just signed an official dispatch to the Market Management Department of provinces and centrally-run cities regarding strengthening inspection of legal regulations on electrical equipment products in response to increasing demand from people.
Recently, record heat has occurred in many localities, leading to increased demand for electrical appliances such as generators, rechargeable fans, energy-saving cooling devices, etc. Due to limited supply, some organizations and individuals have taken advantage of this to illegally profit, affecting the rights of consumers.
